You know the glasses people wear that change to sunglasses when you go out into the sun? Well, I never really thought about this, but people who wear contacts don’t really have anything comparable to this technology… UNTIL NOW! The way the technology works on glasses involves some special coating and you can’t put that kind of thing on contacts. So these smart guys in Singapore found a way to inject the coating inside the contact. They’re still trying to work it out so that the entire contact doesn’t have to turn black in the sun… eventually they’ll have them so that only the pupil is shaded and not the colored part of your eye. Until they do figure out how to only blacken the center part of the contacts, you do get the added bonus of having awesome True Blood vampire eyes!
