Walmart bringing back $78 Blu-ray player
The Magnavox Blu-ray player for $78 deal that so many angry rednecks and brothas fought over on Black Friday will make its triumphant return to Walmart this Sunday.
Personally, I think if you’re looking for a cheap Blu-ray player you’d be better served to look around for one of the $99 BD players with internet connectivity. A Blu-ray player w/out web access is quickly becoming a waste of time.
And Walmart is gross anyways. Shopping carts suck.

I’ve been waiting for this generation of player and I am glad I did. The old slow performance and oversize boxes are done.
Great picture, unbelievable sound. One easy download and player was updated to Blu-ray 2.0 standard.
Way to go Sony, keep that price low Amazon.

Unfortunately, I didn’t wait… I have a gigantic, non-web enabled box sitting on my entertainment center. I’ll probably upgrade sometime soon… but in the meantime, I guess it was worth having if only for the opportunity to experience The Dark Knight in “stunning 1080p.”
