Southland officially landing at TNT

November 2nd, 2009

After weeks of speculation, TNT confirmed the inevitable, that the “We Know Drama” cable net would be the new home for the recently cancelled cop drama, Southland. Beginning in January (Tuesdays @ 10p), TNT will air the 7 episodes of the series that ran last spring on NBC and will then follow those episodes up with the 6 episodes that were already filmed for a season 2 that never happened. Once the network can get a temperature gauge on how well the first 13 episodes run, they will make a decision on whether or not Southland will become a permanent fixture in their lineup.

Syfy order US version of vampire, ghost, werewolf show

October 30th, 2009

Being Human has already run for a season on various BBC properties, and now it’ll get a US revamp to air on Syfy. The series is about 3 twenty something roommates who happen to be a vampire, ghost, and a werewolf. The 3 help each other out as they try and navigate their double lives. (How in the hell do you live a double life if you’re a ghost? I figure the whole semi-transparent body and floating thing would give it away pretty easily)
