Stuck in a soulless and windowless office that could use a little bit of sunshine? Well, you’re screwed. Pop it on your wall and the electroluminescent (EL) sheets attached to the blinds create the illusion of daylight. AND, you can control the amount of light produced by turning the shades… just like you would with a normal set.

Audi’s A2 concept car is on display at Art Basel’s Design Miami press event, accompanied by over 2,000 LEDs and several hanging Xbox Kinects to create a “digital street.” I’m still digging for a video to see the full extent of the functionality of this display, but it looks like the Kinect sensors track consumers within the booth and displays imagery on the LEDs accordingly.

I’m hoping they used this for more than just mushroom-induce bright colors displays and incorporated some real footage to make it look like the car is on the road.
